Hilary Duff is back with some new music already! Although her album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., just came out last June, her newest single is a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s 1987 hit, “Little Lies.” Hilary was asked to do this song to go with her hit TV series, Younger. Hilary plays an ambitious but wild book editor in the show alongside a 40 year old pretending to be in her 20s. Younger starts its second season today, and has already been picked up for a third season to air this fall.
You can listen to the new version of “Little Lies” below. While Fleetwood Mac’s original recording had a soft rock and new wave style, Hilary’s cover gives it an synthpop makeover with a dubstup chorus. It’s a great reinvention that gives the song a new vibe. Listen below:
TV Land also posted a behind-the-scenes video of Hilary recording “Little Lies” recently:
You can buy “Little Lies” on iTunes now. Hilary Duff’s latest album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., came out last June, led by the singles “Sparks,” “All About You,” and “Chasing The Sun.” Although that album is only a few months old, Hilary is already starting to write for her next album. She has no clear plans as to when it will be ready for release, but we’re guessing sometime in 2017.
Be sure to check out the season premiere of Younger tonight on TV Land. Keep checking back here for all the latest Hilary Duff music news.
