Ghost Shows Off Sinister Student Talent In “Cirice” Music Video

Ghost just released the music video for their new single, “Cirice,” and the six-minute clip plays like an old horror film.  The band looks younger than ever, but no less sinister: Papa Emeritus and his Nameless Ghouls are just children in a student talent show, and already they are converting people to their dark mission.

Young Papa Emeritus has all the swagger and charm he’s known for, and the parents in the audience grow increasingly uncomfortable and nervous in his evil presence. Papa Emeritus particularly captures the attention of a young girl, and she ends up taking on a Carrie-like role towards the end of the video, trapping people in the school as Ghost finishes “Cirice.” It’s a stunning video that draws you into its creepy world. Check it out:

“Cirice” is the first single off of Ghost’s upcoming third album, Meliora, out on August 21st. You can pre-order it from Ghost’s official store now. There will be plenty more Ghost news in the weeks leading up to the album’s release, so keep checking back here for all the latest music news.
